2020: Our Goals

We are dedicated to ameliorating poor education in our communities. With over 1500 beneficiaries of all our projects, we are even more determined to make grater impacts this year.

One of our main focus is contributing our quota to fostering quality education and helping to attain the agenda 2030 goal. In accordance with the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20, Member States agreed to launch a process to develop a set of sustainable development goals (SDGs) to succeed the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), whose achievement period concludes in 2015.

Goal 4 on inclusive and equitable quality education and promotion of life-long learning opportunities for all focuses on eliminating gender disparities in education and ensuring equal access to all levels of education and vocational training for the vulnerable, including persons with disabilities. In addition, the proposal calls for building and upgrading education facilities that are child, disability and gender sensitive and also provide safe, non-violent, inclusive and effective learning environments for all.

Our experience in the last three years through our Kit-A-Child Project in Lagos State Primary and Secondary Schools has brought to the need to stress the  need for the increase in education support and hence advance the country’s ability to achieve the sustainable development goal on education.
